Getting Here

The Columbia Valley is the perfect spot for a road trip! From whichever direction you’re travelling from, beautiful views and scenic drives await. Enjoy exploring Kootenay National Park if you’re taking Highway 93, stopping at roadside markets via the Golden Triangle Route, or experiencing the rivers and lakes of the south route on Highway 93/95.

The nearest car rentals are available in Banff, Cranbrook, or Calgary.

The nearest airport to the Columbia Valley is the Canadian Rockies International Airport located in Cranbrook, B.C. It is a small, regional airport servicing the Kootenay-Rockies area, with flights mainly to and from Calgary, Kelowna, and Vancouver.

Calgary International Airport is the nearest large airport to the Columbia Valley.

While transit options are limited in the area, a small regional bus runs from Cranbrook to Golden weekly.

Getting Around

Once you’ve arrived in the Columbia Valley, getting from course to course is easy with a little advance planning. Golfers can enjoy 11 courses within 25 minutes of each other, all easily accessible throughout the Columbia Valley communities — including Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Windermere, and Fairmont Hot Springs.
